Peptide therapy

Also known as: peptides

A broad clinic term for the use of substances made of amino-acid chains; it does not name a specific medicine or treatment plan.

Context

Ask for each drug name, formulation, dose, route and purpose. A compounded preparation is not FDA approved, and an approval or study for one peptide does not establish the status or effects of another.

Question to ask

What exact medicine is proposed, who supplies it, and what evidence and regulatory documentation apply to this use?
