Sources & listing standards

Useful details.
Clear meanings.

A clinic profile organizes information about one physical location. Here is how to interpret the details you see and how changes reach the directory.

Start with the source.

Approved public profiles include an established official clinic website. Sources and checked dates, when shown, describe the information used in directory research. A checked date does not guarantee that services, clinicians, costs, or contact information remain current. Follow the clinic’s website and confirm details directly.

Research is followed by publication review.

Discovery produces candidates for review. A candidate found through search or automated research is not automatically a published listing. Directory staff review location information and supporting sources before publication. A payment does not bypass that review.

Publication review concerns the directory’s listing information. It is separate from medical licensure, treatment approval, and an assessment of clinical quality or outcomes. Fictional preview records are labeled demonstrations and do not belong in the production inventory.

Reported services describe offerings.

Categories organize documented or clinic-reported services. They do not establish an approved use, suitability, safety, or effectiveness. A missing category may reflect incomplete information rather than an unavailable service. Read the service glossary and ask the clinician about the exact product or procedure.

Read credential information precisely.

If a profile displays a license check, its date, jurisdiction, and scope matter. A recorded check is different from an endorsement or a guarantee of current standing. Confirm current licensure with the relevant licensing authority and ask who will evaluate you and perform any procedure.

A claim enables profile management.

Paid claims are coming soon at a planned price of $99 per year per physical location and are not currently purchasable. Paid claim status does not establish medical credentials or ownership authority. It does not assess safety or treatment effectiveness.

Profile management and corrections are included in that annual fee. Sensitive changes can require review before they are published. Billing, account access, and publication review remain separate. Use directory support for a conflicting claim, transfer, or mistaken purchase.

National scope, developing coverage.

Our geography includes all U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and territories. Geographic representation does not mean that each area has reviewed, published profiles. Empty results reflect the directory’s current inventory, not proof that no clinics exist there.

Help keep the details useful.
