Crestwood’s Huntsville wound center accepts physician referrals and direct appointments. Before treatment, staff evaluate the wound and review health history, with blood-flow, tissue-oxygen and infection testing when indicated. Plans may include specialized dressings, debridement, compression, edema management or hyperbaric oxygen. The Whitesport Circle team coordinates with the patient’s physician throughout care and returns healed-wound patients to that physician for follow-up.
